Lumberjack Wedding Inspiration Shoot
One of my all-time favorite shoots with some of my favorite vendors. My go-to photographer, Ashley Forrette, helped mastermind this shoot (and most others). I spent months gathering just the right details for this quirky, rustic shoot. St. Johns Bridge Wedding Gown Shoot
An endlessly talented young fashion designer, Karina Reed, created three stunning gowns for AniA Bridal's scholarship contest (which she obviously won). Her gowns were inspired by the architecture of the Portland city bridges. This particular gown's cutout back mirrors the cathedral arches of the St. Johns Bridge.
Ross Island Bridge Wedding Gown Shoot
Karina's winning gown was this glorious number: a chiffon, strapless, split-front gown with a killer bolero. Thousands of swarovski crystals were sewn into the shape of the supports of the Ross Island Bridge. This stunning gown was the feature of our runway show at the Portland Art Museum. Alice in Wonderland Wedding Inspiration Shoot
AniA Bridal's then-in-house custom designer Jennifer Phillips of Phillips Couture created this baby blue gown. Once we had in mind that the gown was blue, it was only fitting to have the rest of the shoot line up with the blue. Alice in Wonderland? Yes, please. But we shied away from the traditional whimsy and went with a more steampunk approach. This shoot had the most vendors ever! Duchess for the suit, Phillips Bridal for the gown, Fleurology for the florals, Graphic design and paper work by me, One Divine Party for dessert styling, Aaron Courter and Ashley Forrette for photography, Queen Anne's Victorian mansion for the venue... the list goes on and on.
